Collection: Mead

 We make Cotswold Buzz Mead every winter. At 14.5% alcohol by volume it's a great drink with cheese at the end of a meal.  If you want a lighter consistency, try the Fosse Way Cotswold Mead 75cl 12% ABV  which is suitable for serving chilled with a meal.

At our meadery in north Oxfordshire, we mix our honey with filtered spring water and add a wine yeast. After about 3 weeks, the mead is racked off the yeast and allowed to settle.

To get a consistent product, we aim to use a honey which is reliable in taste and quantity such as oilseed honey.
